Yo Roma!!!

Welcome to Vatican City!!
St. Peter's Basilica

* trying to get a close to see the Pope, but unfortunately we couldn't get close enough!!

But a nice lecture over a cup of gelato was quite lovely!!
Oh we also met up with some of the MSU's faculty that's covering our a portion of our study abroad journey!!

After listening to a little of the Pope's speech along came more touring of the city!!

The Pantheon! Constructed around around 126 AD, The Roman temple built for Gods has now been converted to a Christian church since approximately the 1400s ... Very old but very monumental!
*inside of the Pantheon

*the oculus, hovering dome of the Pantheon, height and the diameter of the interior circle are the same which is approximately 142 feet.

* I had a "sucker for love" moment ... Caught a shot of a couple enjoying a book on steps of the Pantheon!!

It was a pretty short day so a great nap was in the making!!

Snap shots:

*The Trevi Fountain

*omg!!! Greatest upset in history!! Italian Fried Chicken from a place that's mimicking  Church's Chicken!!

Rainy day again.. Asha and trying to stay dry at the Piazza Navona

Asha and Danielle singing in the rain!!

Blog you later,
Triple1love
